The Kanata 7s are now accepting applications for the 2026 Spring League.

 Details

• Each team will play 12 games
• Maximum of 16 players for each team
• Season will start Tuesday January 20th 2026.
• Divisions will be offered at Bell Sensplex in Kanata
• Entry fee is $2220.00 per team plus HST ($288.60), so total is $2508.60
• Teams will also need to pay a player insurance fee of $9.00 for each player on their roster who did not play in the 2025 Fall League.

Application Process
Each team must submit an online application form to the Kanata 7s. They must also pay a deposit of $200.

Note that we accept payment with 3 methods

1. Online with your credit card
2. Email money transfers
3. Cheque

Balance of fees plus player insurance fees will be due prior to the first game being played.

Priority of places will be given as follows

1. Teams who played in the 2025 Fall League will be given top priority until December 15th 2024. After this date they loose this privilege.
2. Teams who played in the 2025 Spring League will be given second priority until December 15th 2024. After this date they loose this privilege.
3. New teams who apply by December 15th 2025 will be given third priority.
4. From December 16th 2025 all remaining places will be offered on a first come first served basis

The Ottawa Senators are pleased to offer significant savings on game tickets for the 25-26 season for members, friends, and family of the Kanata 7s players.

We will be using a new website for the 2022 season. The system is the latest league management platform from E2E Soccer so it retains a lot of the features that you have used in previous years.

The biggest change is that the web site is now responsive so it will display much better on a smart phone or tablet.

The new platform uses Word Press technology so we are able to take advantage of some of that technology to improve your online experience.

You will also have the opportunity to customize your home page.

At the top right of the home page you will see a cog icon. Click on this to configure your home page.

There are currently two features to use

• Team selector
• Schedule ticker

We hope to add other home page configuration tools in the near future

On July 1, 2019, new rules came into effect through Rowan’s Law, to improve concussion safety in amateur competitive sport.

Everyone can help recognize a possible concussion if they know what to look for.

A person with a concussion might have any of the signs or symptoms listed below. They might show up right away or hours, or even days later. Just one sign or symptom is enough to suspect a concussion. Most people with a concussion do not lose consciousness.

Get to know the "Red Flags" of a concussion

“Red flags” may mean the person has a more serious injury. Treat red flags as an emergency and call 911.

Red flags include:

• Neck pain or tenderness
• Double vision
• Weakness or tingling in arms or legs
• Severe or increasing headache
• Seizure or convulsion
• Loss of consciousness (knocked out)
• Vomiting more than once
• Increasingly restless, agitated or aggressive
• Getting more and more confused
