Play off format

The format for the play offs for the Spring season is as follows.

Round 1

• 3rd place v 6th place
• 4th place v 5th place

Round 2

• 1st place v lowest ranked winner from round 1
• 2nd place v highest ranked winner from round 1

Round 3

• Final - winning teams from round 2
• 5th/6th - losing teams from round 1

Tied game rule

Bylaw 10: Play off games
a. If a play off game ends in a tie the team who has the better regular season record will win the game.

Tuesday April 8th

9:00pm City United (3rd) v Landsharks (6th)

10:00pm Talons (4th) v Lightning (5th)

Tuesday April 15th

8:00pm Lightning v Landsharks (Losing teams from April 8th games)

9:00pm Pique Blinders (1st) v Talons (lowest ranked winner from April 8th)

10:00pm Zenin Clan (2nd) v City United (highest ranked winner from April 8th)

Tuesday April 22nd

9:30pm Final (Winning teams from April 15th games at 9:00pm and 10:00pm)

Division 2

Thursday April 17th

6:00pm (3rd) v (6th)

7:00pm (4th) v (5th)

Thursday April 24th

9:00pm (1st) v (lowest ranked winner from April 17th)

10:00pm (2nd) v (highest ranked winner from April 17th)

Thursday May 1st

6:00pm Losing teams from April 17th games

Special Notes

1. If the play offs go to form then each team will have 2 play off games. However there is a possibility that a team may only receive 1 play off game. If this occurs they will receive a refund for 1 game.
2. In Division 2 TBD United will play 2 games less than the other 5 teams. Their final points total will be adjusted on a prorata basis for the missing 2 games.
